SUSTAIN International State of the Art Report Series

In a new series of reports, the SUSTAIN Hub is preparing a comprehensive overview of the most advanced developments, technologies, practices, or research in fields relevant to steelmaking on a global scale.

These will cover:

    This first report focusses on the advances in scrap processing in the United States for the production of high quality, low residual Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) steel. The report outlines the overall status of scrap processing and highlights the benefits for both US and critically UK scrap quality in steelmaking.

  • The Carbon Cycle: Maximising the Value of Emissions as a By-Product

    This second report focusses upon the valorisation of carbon emissions, the challenges and latest research and opportunities in this area.
