Dr Sagar Uprety
Sagar is a postdoctoral researcher in the Warwick Manufacturing Group at University of Warwick, UK. He has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master’s in Physics from BITS Pilani, India. After graduating, he worked for 2 years as a Machine Learning Engineer in India. He then completed his PhD from The Open University, UK as a Marie Curie scholar, working on modelling user decision-making in search engines.
As part of the SUSTAIN project, he is working on Multi-Agent Deep Reinforcement Learning algorithms for Robotics. The idea is to make multiple robots learn to collaborate with each other using direct inputs from their respective onboard cameras. The 3D simulation environments and the algorithms developed would be able to be adapted to different domains.
